Basler Line Sentinel

Broken overhead power lines can cause significant damage to equipment, people and surroundings. Recloser systems intending to quickly restore power can extend the damage during these events. The Line Sentinel is a patented system solution to detect open power line conductors. Upon detection, the system communicates to existing recloser controllers to disconnect the power source and block reclose. The system is designed to disconnect the power source before the line touches the ground.
